What industries does SheJo Consultancy serve?

SheJo Consultancy primarily serves the seafood processing and export industry but also extends its services to local food retailers, wholesalers, buying stations, and fishermen. We help these clients meet food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with both national and international regulations​. It is our aim to extend our reach into schools, hospitals, cafeterias and even to the water and juice production industry.

How can I schedule a consultation with SheJo Consultancy?

How do consultations work? Is there a fee?

Consultations are first accompanied by a form for a client to complete. The form gathers sufficient information to obtain a clear picture of the client’s needs. Then, once such information is obtained, a date and time would be arranged and meetings are hosted via a virtual platform (i.e. Google Meets, Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom). This initial consultation held for thirty minutes (30) and free! Equally important, consultation prices are usually built into packages once clients have completed the initial consultation and would like to move forward with SheJo Consultancy assisting them in meeting their industry needs.

What types of training does SheJo Consultancy provide?

We offer comprehensive training in food safety, sanitation practices, allergen management, pest control, and HACCP standards. These training sessions are designed for seafood processing personnel and various food establishments, aiming to provide both national and global certifications​​. Furthermore, such trainings are either live and virtual or at a physical location (in the case of the Seafood HACCP certification courses). Click to access our training offerings.

Are the courses accredited or endorsed?

Yes, the courses are affiliated and accredited by the Seafood HACCP Alliance, and on such site under their ‘trainings’, you would find courses offered by SheJo Consultancy. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources endorses such courses as it is a requirement by law for those applying for a Seafood Processing facility and Seafood export license to possess Seafood HACCP certification.

How are payments made for any of the course offerings?

Once you have completed the registration form found here, then you will be provided via email, a copy of the banking instructions. For international applications, payment can be made via PayPal. Feel free to inquire about our payment plan options by emailing us: shejoconsultancy@gmail.com.

How does SheJo Consultancy ensure compliance with international standards?

SheJo Consultancy offers detailed consultations and document preparation services to help businesses comply with international and national standards. This includes preparing HACCP documents, food safety plans, sanitation control procedures documents, relevant logs, product recall procedures and conducting thorough audits and inspections to ensure all regulatory requirements are met​​.

Where is SheJo Consultancy located?

SheJo Consultancy is located in Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas (a mobile and home-based business).

Operational from Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM​​; closed on weekends and holidays.
